History of Ingleside
The name of Ingleside suburb was derived from the Ingleside House mansion built by Baron Von Beirenm in 1880.
Beirenm is an industrial chemist, who specializes in explosives and gunpowder manufacturing. He also found the Australian Gunpowder and Explosives Manufacturing Company in the suburb.
