History Brookvale
Brookvale development was first recorded in 1836 after William Frederick Parker was granted with 64 hectares of land. Not long further, he sold the land to Burns, Malcom, and Miles families.
In 1883, the Brookvale House was built but later sold to the Hooker Investment Corporation in 1961. This follows the construction of the Warringah Mall, the biggest shopping mall in the region.
The town has two post offices. The Brookvale Post Office started its operation on June 1888 while the Warringah Mall Post Office opened on April 1963.
